• Service Offerings Covered: RingzU Telecom services (including numbers, SMS/MMS, VOIP) and related platforms (e.g., supportME!).
• RingzU Telecommunications Corporation (“RingzU,” “we,” “us”) responds to lawful requests from government and law-enforcement authorities in accordance with applicable law.
We require valid legal process and sufficient detail to identify the records sought. Nothing in this Statement waives objections to improper scope, burden, or process.
• 1) Service of Process (Email Only): Submit legal process and all requests to: law.enforcement@ringzu.com
• Submit one legal process per email to ensure proper handling. Use official agency email and include contact information for the requesting officer/agent.
• Encrypted attachments (PDF preferred) are acceptable; include decryption details in the message body if applicable.
• 2) Required Information for Timely Processing: Please include all of the following in your email to ensure timely treatment:
- Full Name (requesting officer/agent)
- Authorized Agency / Department
- Your Phone Number (direct line)
- Nature of Request (e.g., Subscriber info, Call detail records, Billing info, etc.)
- Target Telephone Number(s)
- Request Start Date and End Date (time zone if relevant)
- Copy of your Subpoena, Court Order, Search Warrant, or Other Formal Legal Process
- Additional Notes (including specific circumstances and/or deadlines)
3) Types of Legal Process & Scope:
Subscriber Information / Basic Customer Records:
Produced in response to appropriate legal process as permitted by law.
• Call Detail Records (CDRs) & Non-Content Records: May be available for limited retention windows. We cannot produce records not retained in the ordinary course of business.
• Billing Records: Available to the extent maintained in the ordinary course of business.
• Content of Communications: Provided only with legal process that authorizes disclosure of content under applicable law. If not retained, content cannot be produced.
• Prospective/Real-Time Assistance: Any real-time assistance (e.g., intercepts) requires valid, specific legal authority and coordination; availability is subject to technical capability and applicable law.
• 4) Preservation Requests: We will preserve available records pending receipt of formal legal process upon receipt of a preservation request from a law-enforcement entity. Please clearly label the subject line as PRESERVATION REQUEST and include identifying details (target numbers, relevant dates/times, time zone).
• 5) Emergency Disclosure Requests: In matters involving an emergency that presents an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, submit a written request marked EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST explaining the nature of the emergency, the specific facts supporting the request, the records sought, and why the information is necessary to address the emergency. We will evaluate disclosures consistent with applicable law.
• 6) Non-Disclosure Orders (NDOs) & Customer Notice: If your legal process is accompanied by a valid non-disclosure order, include it with your submission. Where not prohibited by law or court order, RingzU may provide reasonable advance notice to affected customers to allow an opportunity to object.
• 7) Authentication, Cost Reimbursement & Format: Authentication: We may require confirmation of agency identity or additional documentation.
• Cost Reimbursement: Where permitted by law, RingzU may seek reimbursement for costs incurred in responding to legal process.
Production Format: Records are typically provided electronically (secure PDF/CSV or similar). Alternative formats may be considered where feasible.
• 8) Limitations & Retention RingzU produces only records that exist and are retained in the ordinary course of business. • Retention periods are limited; records may no longer be available after standard retention windows or account termination.
• We do not create new records, perform analysis, or render expert opinions.
