Do I need a separate phone system to use AI agents?
No. Our AI agents run directly on existing RingzU Telecom USA VoIP lines. There's no additional hardware, no SIP trunking, and no forwarding required. Your current number handles it all. Virtual extensions or end point devices are usually the easiest route for calls handled by agents with endpoints allowing the inbound transfer to a human if needed. If the caller is routed to a human via SIP to SIP transfer or is a RingzU network customer those calls have no cost other than Ai.
How long does it take to get an AI agent live?
Most standard INBOUND agent builds go live within 1 business day from service activation or porting. While OUTBOUND take a few days to certify your marketing list, and SMS can take a bit longer for 10DLC approval from the Carriers to allow your text messaging through the system. Complex builds with CRM integration or custom voice cloning typically take 3 to 14 days depending on scope.
Can the AI agent sound exactly like a specific person?
Our Enterprise tier has access to advance voice systems (this requires 2 hours of studio quality clean audio to produce the exact match in which we provide back 2 versions of the cloned voice) Professional custom voice cloning requires the voice owner to validate they are that person, and to pass the voice matching exam including consent and or rights to and license for the recordings. Standard plans choose from our library of professional natural flow AI voices.
What happens when a caller needs a real human?
The agent recognizes escalation intent — either from a direct request or conversation signals — and warm transfers the call to a live team member using your existing routing rules. The agent may also be given scenerios or rules for that human hand off in which you can mandate for the agent to follow specifc steps prior to hand off or the caller must hit a request threshhold, like asking 3 times for human and have the agent exhaust all remedies and knowledge base first.
Is the AI HIPAA compliant for healthcare use?
Our healthcare-specific agent builds (PULSE) follow HIPAA-aware call handling practices. We recommend discussing compliance requirements with your company attorney to find the requirements for your State and Federal statute. We can scope the build appropriately for your practice type. Be aware the storage of HIPAA conversations and the compliant lines for such conversations has a high cost of service as we have to remove all connection partners from the conversation to be in compliance. This can lead to as much as $1000.00 per month to your service + certified storage if needed.
Can I change the script after the agent goes live?
Yes. Your customer account dashboard provides for control of your agents and the scripting and the routing, as well as viewing all performance data and making special requests for advanced changes if not currently allowed inside your level of use. On Professional and Enterprise level plans, script updates are immediately uploadable and become active once the local memory of the agent is flushed. This can take 0 to several minutes to propogate through out all 24 of our network hubs throughout the United States.
Do you record and transcribe calls?
The recording of calls either AI or human is accomplished inside your RingzU Telecom USA portal as it is part of the phone service not the AI and therefore requires a calling tier that includes recording. Transcription is also a telecom feature and is paired with recordings and email messages inside your RingzU customer account portal. It is not available using the base tier of Digital Voice 365. If you need additional services like "Sentiment" of masking of PII, recordings can be disabled for compliance-sensitive use cases as well byt default masking of DOB, Ceredit Card Numbers, and Socialk Security Numbers are masked for the callers protection. We will not remove the mask until your proof of need and verification reaches the approriate and legal threshhold for removing that consumer protection.
Do you integrate with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRMs?
While this is possible for any level, the added cost of the data connection to outside networks is prohibitive on the base plan. CRM integration is available on the Enterprise tier and includes Salesforce, HubSpot, and custom API connections. Professional plan includes webhook delivery of specific requested call data to the same endpoint each time. Changing relay is currently restricted to one time under our terms of use. If something is causing the immediate need to change the delivery point please reach out to use by phone for assistance.
